I have always loved sparkly, glitzy, shiny things. As a young child I would always ask my mother "when you are done with that, can I have it?. She would always laugh and tell me that she was going to be around for a long time. I, of course, didn't want her to be "done" with it, I just hoped she would take the hint and get sick of it quicker!! Anyway, my love of all that sparkles still lives on. I believe that jewelry should be both pretty, functional and WORN!! I also believe that if you are going to take the time and energy to create something, you have got to use quality materials. All of my jewelry is made to enjoy. Most of it is using all Sterling Silver clasps, head pins, and spacer beads. If I haven't used Sterling, it will say so. The wire I use for bracelets and necklaces is always 49 count. What this means to you is that your piece will always have a beautiful drape and movement while it is being worn. It will not stand stiffly around watching you move, it will move with you!!
I have been beading for quite a while, mostly playing at it. I create gifts for all the Holidays and am always told I should be selling it. This is definately the next step for me.
I also own a Scrapbook, Papercrafting, and Beading store located in Wayne, NJ. While we are still mostly a scrapbooking store, we are expanding the beading on a daily basis.
